Recap from Last Night and Looking Ahead March 27, 2008

Kudos to “Gravey” aka Brandon Graves for doing a wonderful job last night.  I was blown away.  Great discussion, great lesson, it was all good!  Brandon and Heather are such a strong part of our group and we are blessed to have them. 

Next week we will begin something a little bit different.  We are going to have two people per week share a meaningful bible passage and tell how God is using this in their life.  Next week we have two volunteers, James Perryman and Heather Graves.  I can’t wait to hear them both.  If you would like to volunteer for this, we have openings starting Apr. 9.  I would love to do this for at least 4 weeks.  It solely depends on your participation.  More news coming later today!

Don’t Forget, Special Speaker Tomorrow Night March 25, 2008

Hey gang, please plan to attend tomorrow night.  I will be there, but we will be having a special speaker for the evening.  I can’t wait to hear this person either.  It is official, this person will be there tomorrow night.  I want it to be a surprise or a teaser.  Be there early or at least on time, I want to give our special speaker plenty of time.  See you then!!! 

Backyard Bible Club Egg Hunt! March 24, 2008

On Saturday, we did two BYBC’s at King’s Crossing Apartment Complex and February Street Park.  Between the two sites we had 50 kids show up and four of them gave their life to Christ.  It was awesome!!!  This is one of the great ministries that we are involved in.  Tiff of course works hard on these and  I am so proud of the work that she does.  She is such a great partner in ministry.  I am so thankful that I have a wife that is equally called.  She’s the best!!! 

We hid over 750 eggs at the BYBC Easter Egg hunt.  The kids had a blast!  Special Thanks to the Element 26 Key Group for coming out and being the light of Christ!!

Baby Blessing Tonight March 19, 2008

Tonight we will be doing a baby blessing.  This is an event that we started from the onset of our group.  It is one of my favorite things we do.  We will be honoring little Audrey Perryman and her parents, James and Jill.  Bring you favorite scriptures and share a tear tonight as we honor this family.  See you tonight at 6 p.m.

We Missed Everyone March 6, 2008

Hello everyone!  I just wanted to touch base with you and see how everyone is doing.  We missed everyone last night.  I want to give you a word of encouragement and let you know that I am praying for each and everyone of you.  I would love to see everyone there next week.  We are going to begin a new study and I want you to be a part of it.  Contact me if you have any questions or comments.  Love you guys!
